Australian Apprenticeships

Many of CMC’s courses are available as an Australian Apprenticeship (traineeship or apprenticeship) if government eligibility criteria are met.  See eligibility for further information.

There are many advantages to employers taking on a trainee/apprentice.

Advantages include:

• Training and assessment is delivered on-site in your work environment where timing, location and nature are suited to meet the needs of your business.
• Training provided is based on the particular job roles and function of the employee, enhancing employee performance in the workplace as well as their studies.
• Commonwealth financial incentives are often available for Certificate III & Certificate IV level qualifications.  (Also available for Diploma level for Children’s Services & Out of School Hours Care)
• State government (user choice) funding may be available for new staff.  The state government will fund the training so the fee to the student is much less.  Concession rates are available to user choice trainees who have a relevant concession.
• The trainee/apprentice gains a nationally recognized qualification upon completion so you’ll have qualified staff.
• Traineeships contribute to building a skilled and qualified workforce for you and Australia!
