Inservice Booking Policy

PURPOSE

This policy has been developed to ensure that a quality training service can be provided by CMC – Training at Work for your service/s and staff which is both enjoyable and rewarding for all.

POLICY

  1. All bookings for in-service training will be confirmed by our office on our in-service booking confirmation form. A booking confirmations will be forwarded to the host organisation at the time of booking and must be signed and approved in order to confirm the booking.

  2. The confirmation will outline the date, venue, address, course, cost and the number of participants attending the session. This confirmation must be signed by an authorised person from the host organisation.

  3. An invoice for the training fees will be issued upon receipt of the signed confirmation. The terms for this invoice are 14 days.

  4. Should the organisation wish to cancel the booking once it has been confirmed, a cancellation fee of $100 will apply. All cancellations are required at least 72 hours prior to the first training session or an additional fee of $100 will apply.

  5. Should the organisation wish to postpone the session once it has been confirmed, notice must be given to the CMC office at least 72 hours prior to the first training session. A fee may be charged after this time, at CMC's discretion.

  6. All invoices will be made out to the organisation responsible for booking the training and will not be made out to individuals in any circumstances. Money and payments will not be collected at the training session unless it is in the form of one cheque for the full sum of the amount owing to CMC – Training at Work.

  7. It is the responsibility of the host organisation to collect money from individual participants if required. If this is required, it is also the responsibility of the host organisation to decide how the cost is divided between participants. CMC – Training at Work can provide assistance in how to determine this. Please refer to the costing tables over page for assistance.

  8. It is the responsibility of the host organisation to notify CMC at least 72 hours prior to the session if any circumstances change – for example if there are more or less participants attending than quoted on the confirmation form. Changes such as this affect resources required for the session and in some cases cost.

  9. Should an additional invoice be required due to a larger number of participants attending the session than quoted on the confirmation form, the additional invoice will be issued to the organisation after the session.

  10. No certificates or statements can be issued until full payment is received by our office.

  11. All certificates will be mailed to the host organisation. It is the responsibility of the host organisation to distribute the certificates to individual participants once received.

  12. All participants will be required to complete an enrolment form during the training session. This enrolment form is required from each participant before a certificate can be issued.

  13. CMC – Training at Work collects information from the host organisation at the time of booking and also from each participant on their enrolment forms. This information is protected by our Privacy Policy. Information will be stored on the internal CMC system for use only by authorised members of CMC – Training at Work and will not be disclosed to any other organisation or affiliates for any purposes.

  14. CMC – Training at Work will add all organisations who book a first aid, CPR or EpiPen course to our reminder database so that reminders can be sent to you when certificates are approaching expiry.
