Jacqui Hodge Jacqui Hodge
Managing Director

As the Managing Director and owner Jacqui started and developed our training organisation. While Jacqui is responsible for all areas of the business she is very concerned with ensuring that we are providing top quality training ,and that students and their employers are happy with the service they receive. Jacqui will resolve any complaints as quickly as possible and ensure that all our clients are able to undertake their training in a positive environment with full support from their Trainer/Assessor.

Jacqui has worked in Children's services since 1980. She was a Committee member of the Victorian OSHC Association for many years as well as a past chair of the National association. Jacqui has also been a member of the National Quality Assurance steering committee for Outside School Hours and an industry representative on the National Children's Services Forum and the Children services regulations review in 1997. Jacqui has held many positions at Local Government and a State Wide Training and Resource Agency and is an experienced and qualified Trainer and Assessor holding a Diploma of Training and Assessment.


Teena Sapwell Teena Sapwell

Teena is a well known figure in child care and training circles in QLD and joining CMC as our QLD State Manager in 2005. Teena and the team have since established several training programs including pre-employment training, traineeships and apprenticeships, self funded courses and an RPL assessment model that can be partly funded through Skilling Solutions.
2006 saw the development of CMC's first campus and the introduction aged care, training and assessment and a variety of popular in service programs.

As a qualified and registered teacher with experience in the Department of Communities, Child Safety, Corporate Management, Child Care and Training, Teena has more than 18 years Industry experience to share with our QLD student body, and the CMC family.


Gemma Ferrario Gemma Ferrario

Gemma started working with CMC - Training at Work in 2005. Gemma has worked for corporate childcare providers and management services and will liaise with industry extensively as well as manage and train for our Advanced Diploma in Childcare course.

Gemma will have increasing responsibilities in line with the skills she brings to us including managing trainers and assessors.



Richard PalmerRichard Palmer
South Australia Manager

As the South Australian Training Coordinator Richard brings with him 20 years experience from all areas of children’s services including child care, OSHC, family day care, occasional care and children’s entertainment. Richard has 10 years experience as a trainer/assessor and training coordinator within child care, family day care and OSHC, covering a variety of training delivery methodologies.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education, Advanced Diploma of Community Services (Children’s Services), Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and South Australian Teachers Registration.

Richard is setting up a number of training programs in South Australia , including pre-employment training programs.


Peter Hodge Peter Hodge

As our Business Manager Peter is responsible for ensuring we operate on a sound financial basis as well as meet all our reporting requirements to Government agencies. Peter is also our quality manager and ensures (in conjunction with the rest of our management team) that we adhere to the national standards for training companies (AQTF). Peter's other duties are to maintain and develop this website.

Peter comes from a strong teaching background teaching individuals, groups and classes at a variety of levels from Primary-aged to mature students. Before working at CMC - Training at Work Peter most recently worked as the Coordinator of the Diploma Of Music Performance course at Goulburn Ovens TAFE.

As well as over-seeing business structure and procedures Peter is also responsible for our new Web pages - and push into On-line learning modes of delivery.


Shashi HodgeShashi Hodge
National Operations Manager

Shashi is our National Operations Manager so she is responsible for looking after the day-to-day operations and systems for the organization.  Shashi works in our Victorian Head Office and oversees the running of the office and administrative staff.Shashi’s tasks include marketing of our courses and services, designing & reviewing procedures, writing policies, ensuring we are meeting government and contractual admin requirements, project development as well as many other things.

While working with CMC, Shashi has completed a Certificate in Business Administration, the Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training, Level 3 First Aid as well as half of the Bachelor of Business (Management).

Shashi is currently completing her Diploma of International Education Services so that she can later look after our International Student Programs.


Michael HashimMichael Hashim
Finance Manager

Michael joined CMC in November 2006. He has previously worked in the training industry and is excited by the challenges of working for a growing and innovative company.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Business (Taxation), Certificate of Business (Accounting), Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and a Certificate of Attainment in Frontline Management. As the Finance Manager Michael brings with him 18 years experience from all areas of Finance and is responsible for looking after the Finance department and its processes for all states while working in our Victorian Head Office. Michael overseas all accounts functions including payroll.

Michael is setting up a number of procedures to help the finance department run much more efficiently.


Christine AldredChristine Aldred
National Program Manager, Indigenous Employment & Training

Christine has been working in the Childcare Industry for the past 14 years. Her experience has ranged from Preschool Teacher, Centre Director and Management Roles for Corporate Childcare. Christine brings to CMC knowledge and degrees in both the Business and Childcare Industry. She holds an Associate Diploma (Business), Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and Cert IV in Workplace, Assessment and Training.

Christine has a passion for the training and supporting of students in the both the childcare and business industries. As an Area Manager, Christine has guided, mentored and supported many staff through their childcare studies. Within Corporate Management, Christine has effectively utlilised her business skills in leadership, marketing and effective communication to provide high quality services to clients.

Christine will use her blend of experience and study to develop business training modules for CMC.


Priscilla RixonPriscilla Mas
School Based Program Manager

Priscilla's primary role with CMC is managing the School Based Program in Victoria (ASBA).

Priscilla has been with CMC Training at Work since early 2003 after many years of working for both the private and government sectors in childcare and kindergartens in a variety of roles.

Priscilla has been involved in many roles with CMC – Training & Assessing children services and community service students along with co-ordinating and delivering first aid and Epipen short courses.

Priscilla holds higher qualifications in Children's Services, Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and various levels of First Aid.
