Delivery Modes - Which one is for me?

All of CMC’s courses are:

FLEXIBLY DELIVERED

All of CMC’s courses are delivered flexibly according to the individual needs of the student. This means there are a range of options available to each student for completing their training and assessment tasks.

We work with each student to identify their own learning style (how they learn best) and from this we structure the course to suit their particular needs. This will mean students can select from a range of options for completing their tasks.

For example, assessment tasks range from:

  • Developing posters
  • Attendance at classes or workshops
  • Written tasks completed in or between classes
  • Working on CD
  • Observing children
  • Completing an online test

PORTFOLIO / CLUSTER BASED

All courses are delivered in groups of units called Portfolios –the units in each portfolio all relate to a central topic. The units have been clustered holistically so that repetition of learning and tasks is avoided.

EMPLOYMENT FOCUSED

All courses are focused on providing students with skills, practice and “job readiness” for work within their industry.
CMC’s courses have been designed with industry input so learning strategies and assessment tasks are focused on current industry standards and common practices.
Many of the tasks students will complete relate to the particular jobs students undertake at work.

CLIENT FOCUSED

CMC is a private training institution so we have a particular focus on providing quality services for our clients. Students and employers can expect individual attention, small class sizes and a quality service.

Students can choose from a range of delivery modes. The options include:

Workplace Based
Traineeships & Apprenticeships
Class-Based On-Campus courses
Distance
Recognition of Prior Learning
Australian School Based Apprenticeships
